Foundations

To build a solid foundation for your movement practice, you must go to the origin of all of movement itself. Here you will learn about the Universal Principle of Yin & Yang. These beginner courses will teach you basic drills, techniques, and practices to build a solid practice for dancers of any style or background. Learn the power of Yin & Yang, how it manifests through movement, and how it can empower your dance practice.

The Djedi Codes

Learn the principles, philosophy, and practices of the Djedi. Here you will go deep into understanding what it means to be a mover of the Life Force. These lecture style tutorials will share everything from eastern philosophy, ancient wisdom, history of the Djedi, and why we use this term. A big part of this training is also sharing tools and practices to help you harness the Life Force through your dance. Energy cultivation practices include Qi-gong, Tai-chi, Breathwork, Meditation, and various health practices that are almost all drawn from the vast realm of Daoist Internal Arts.

The Elemental Styles

These courses focus on teaching the fundamentals of urban street dance styles, specifically within the world of Popping & Animation (or Pop'lock). Here you will cultivate the proper foundations to help get you started in learning these styles correctly. This module consists of 10 mini courses delving into the styles of Waving, Tutting, Popping, Boogaloo, Footwork, Robot, and Animation. Each mini-course gives you techniques, concepts, and common movements to learn and help you start to understand these unique dance languages.
